Issue Once.
Every certificate is cryptographically signed and delivered to the student’s digital wallet — instantly.
For Universities, Colleges & Educational Institutions
A W3C Verifiable Credentials platform — issue, manage, and deliver cryptographically signed digital certificates anchored on blockchain and pushed to every student’s digital wallet.
The Problem
Academic credentials are among the most frequently forged documents in India. Employers spend weeks verifying degrees. Students carry paper certificates that can be lost or forged. NEP 2020, UGC and NAAC mandate a shift institutions now need to fulfil.
Forgeries are undetectable without calling the institution directly.
Weeks of email and phone follow-up to verify a single degree.
No record of who verified what, or when — institutions are blind.
DigiLocker and NAD upload still relies on manual processes.
Historical paper-only archives have no verifiable digital form.
The Platform
Every certificate is cryptographically signed and delivered to the student’s digital wallet — instantly.
Any employer, anywhere in the world, verifies a credential in under two seconds — by scanning a QR code.
Built on W3C VCs. Integrated with DigiLocker, NAD and ABC. UGC, NAAC, AICTE and DPDP Act 2023 compliant by design.
Platform Overview
The solution lets institutions issue, manage and deliver tamper-proof digital certificates — anchored on the Polygon or Ethereum blockchain and delivered to every student’s wallet.
What you get
Governed Issuance
Every credential passes through a mandatory three-stage governed workflow before reaching a student. No certificate is issued without all three stages.
Import & Validate
Records imported from ERP/MIS via REST API or CSV. Validated for completeness, duplicates and schema compliance.
Make
Maker maps student data to templates, previews the rendered PDF and submits the batch for independent review.
Check
Checker independently verifies field-by-field against source records. Cannot be the same person as the Maker.
Approve & Issue
Registrar gives final sign-off. VC cryptographically signed, blockchain hash committed, PDF generated, credential delivered.
Verification Flow
Once a verifier is onboarded, every check runs at the institution’s white-labelled portal — no external service, no third-party trust required.
Any smartphone camera. The institution’s portal loads at its own domain.
The platform fetches the institution’s public key from the Polygon ERC-1056 registry.
VC signature checked against public key. Any alteration is detected immediately.
Registry checked in real time — credential is ACTIVE or REVOKED with timestamp.
Student name, programme, award date, institutional seal — VALID ✓ or REVOKED ×.

Student Wallet & Integrations
Web · iOS · Android — white-labelled with your institution’s branding.
Native to India’s credentialing stack — fully automated, no manual upload.
Deployment
Hosted on ISO 27001 / SOC 2-certified cloud infrastructure in India. All student data stays in India, encrypted at rest.
No servers to procure. Recommended for the pilot phase — live within days of providing SSL credentials, SMTP and ERP access.
Deploys across six servers within the institution’s own data centre. All student PII stays physically on campus — never leaving the institution’s network.
Edulab manages the application layer remotely; institution IT manages infrastructure.
Blockchain Architecture
Both options produce identical W3C Verifiable Credentials. Choose based on your data governance and infrastructure policy.
Option A · Public
Public Ethereum-compatible L2
did:ethr:matic — resolved from Polygon ERC-1056 registryOption B · Private
Institution-controlled Ethereum-compatible blockchain network
did:web — resolved from institution’s own HTTPS domainBoth produce identical W3C VCs · Both fully satisfy blockchain requirements · The institution chooses.
Legacy Migration
A structured, governed pathway to digitise historical academic records — degrees, marksheets, diplomas and certificates — as W3C Verifiable Credentials.
Track A
Records in ERP, database or Excel/CSV are exported, cleansed and mapped to credential templates. Processed in bulk through Maker–Checker–Approver.
Track B
Scanned at 300 DPI. OCR extracts fields with confidence scoring. Maker adjudicates scan vs. OCR in split-screen. Checker and Approver verify independently.
